Summary: What is, and what will be
A/N: 100 word drabble
Merlin is powerful, more powerful than Arthur suspects he realises. Arthur can feel that power in every breath that ghosts across his skin, in the racing pulse in Merlin’s wrist when Arthur kisses the skin there.
He looks into Merlin’s eyes and he sees the past, the present and the future to come. He sees himself now, and the man – the king – that Merlin wants him to become. And he will, in time. He wants to be the man Merlin sees.
But all that can wait, because however much he wants the future the present is what his body craves.
